The initiative is designed for a year and is aimed at artists, musicians, fashion designers and cinematographers.
Visa's head of cryptography, Kew Sheffield, said the company hopes to understand the prospects and challenges faced by creators and explore the role that NFTs can play in monetizing their work.
Ultimately, the program will help Visa develop its own commercial NFT products.
Visa has not yet decided how many authors it wants to train under this program. However, Sheffield expects the group to be small to build a community and support technical mentoring.
